Shoe Review: BROOKS Ghost Max

I had the opportunity to try out a pair of the new Ghost Max over the past month.   It has plenty of cushioning. It was soft and comfortable as soon as I laced them up.  This is due to DNA LOFT v2 midsole technology. It combines lightweight foam, rubber, and air which creates a soft walking experience.  The exuberant amount of cushioning in shoes with memory foam has turned me off on any shoes that advertise a foam structure.  But with the new foam technologies such as EVA, PEBA etc, they hold the foot structure. They still give the shock absorption that we want.   In addition, the GlideRoll Rocker that is full heel-to-toe rocker gives a balanced shoe that will cushion impact of each step while guiding you to the next.

Why I loved them: The max cushioning gives you the shock absorption with the support that you want in a well made shoe. First day I wore them I didn’t want to take them off. I ended up wearing them all day while doing chores in the house.

The Brooks Ghost Max would be a great shoe for those looking for max cushion daily trainer or walking shoe with inherent stability from the widened base.
